The 5 most Frequently Forgotten Items that could hold up your return:

  1. DMV registrations
  2. All home mortgage statements (a loan company can transfer your loan to another coy and you only bring me one statement).
  3. Property Taxes paid
  4. Final escrow closing cost (Hud-1) statements for those that have refinanced, bought or sold property
  5. Your December 2008 & January 2009 bank statements for those that earn less than $10 in interest. (Banks are not required to send you a statement if less $10; but you are required to report that. Look on the back of my card for more helpful hints!!
